    A Lifeline for Troubled Marriages;
Retrouvaille is the name of a programme designed to help heal and renew marriages.

  • BreakThrough Workshop
    Time:2:00pm - 5:00pm
    Venue:Vaughan House, 46 Francis Street London SW1P 1QN

    Dear Father,

Accompanying Married Couples on Their Way.

Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, in his Post Synodal Apostolic Exhortation: Amoris Laetitia, encourages all of us, as a Church community, to help married couples and families:
“Parishes, movements, schools and other Church institutions can help in a variety of ways to support families and help them grow… The life of every family is marked by all kinds of crises, yet these are also part of its dramatic beauty. Couples should be helped to realize that surmounting a crisis need not weaken their relationship; instead, it can improve, settle and mature the wine of their union.”  (Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia)

The Marriage and Family Life Ministry within the Agency for Evangelisation invites you to take part in an initiative to help, by attending with, or sending couples (or husbands or wives alone) from your parish, who are interested in this ministry of ‘accompanying married couples on their way’ to experience the SmartLoving Breakthrough Workshop.

Thereafter, they will receive all the necessary training (including a Marriage Enrichment Retreat for their own marriage, free of charge) to make the Workshop available to others in your own parish.

SmartLoving BreakThrough is a three-hour workshop primarily designed to renew hope and encourage couples to attend further weekend sessions together.  It is a practical, solution-focused workshop for all stages of marriage.

Drawing on contemporary research and Catholic theology, this workshop provides skills and insights to transform marriage relationships into the thriving, joy-filled encounter that they are meant to be.

To Register for a place on one of the days please contact:

    Price18+: £100. 16-18: £80
    Age range16-30 years

God calls us to live in the fullness of life. But what does that look like in the 21st century? With so many questions on identity, dignity and faith swirling around us, it can be hard to find truth. Thankfully, St Pope John Paul II has left for us a beautiful series of teachings, commonly known as Theology of the Body, which reveals the truth of who we are and what we were created for.

We are inviting you to come and spend a week with us exploring this revolutionary worldview; Young adults first take time diving into community and unpacking this teaching together, and relating it to their lives prior to our sixth formers’ arrival.

Then it’s time for us all to receive together, where young adults then begin to give away what they have received by serving on various teams throughout the rest of the retreat.

We are inviting you to step into this ‘civilisation of love’; there will be great community, live music, prayer, sports, games, and countless possibilities to encounter something new of God, and His immeasurable love for you.

Closing day for applications is SUNDAY 17 SEPTEMBER. 10% discount for applications before 1 June.

    Association of Interchurch Families Weekend
Venue:The Hayes Conference Centre, Hayes Ln, Swanwick, Alfreton DE55 1AU, UK

This year the AIF Weekend Conference will explore issues around passing on faith to future generations.

There are many factors that influence church communities and families in this process. For Interchurch families the question of how or whether to pass on two traditions puts this question into a different context.

How do Interchurch children differ from their peers in the way that they receive the message from church and family?

Contributors will include Rach Collins from the Student Christian Movement,
Fr Dominic Robinson SJ National Director of Landings a programme for returning Catholics and Brenden and Laura Thompson from Catholic Voices.
