Westminster Cathedral is the seat of the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster and the Mother Church for Roman Catholics in England and Wales. For over a hundred years countless Christians and visitors of every faith and none have crossed the threshold of this holy place. The Cathedral is also a vibrant parish church where the community is always being built and extended; a living house of prayer where Holy Mass is offered over forty times every week and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available for six hours each day.
In this newly created role the Assistant Cathedral Manager will support the day-to-day management of the Cathedral, including events, operations, and retail management.
This exciting role will require a confident individual with a background in operational, retail and events management as well as having excellent communication and organisational skills.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
(4 weekdays and Saturday (or occasional Sunday) with flexibility on week day off)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
