Weekend Cook – Highgate Parish

A Weekend Cook is required to provide support to the monastery at Highgate Parish.

Duties will include planning and producing a menu, maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget and being accountable for food safety and all aspects of health & safety within the kitchen.  The post-holder will ensure the provision of a high standard of food quality, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy and safe environment, whilst taking into account the age-range and any special or dietary requirements of our users.

The successful candidate will have some knowledge and experience of working in a similar role, be a team player, self-motivated and be able to manage a busy workload.

Hours of work:       6 hours per week (10:30am -1:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Occasional additional hours will be required from time to time)

Salary:                       £14.00 per hour
