The Catholic Diocese of Westminster is home to the Archbishop of Westminster and over 200 parishes in London, north of the river and Hertfordshire.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join the Caritas team of the Diocese of Westminster.
Based initially at our central service offices in London Victoria, the post holder will be mainly responsible for working with deaneries and parishes in the East London area to help develop catholic social action throughout the Diocese in line with Caritas priorities.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Co-ordinating and promoting Catholic social action in deaneries and parishes in the Diocese through supporting deaneries and parishes to identify their response to local needs
2.Establishing and developing hubs as a recognised and valued resource for catholic social action
3.Planning and developing a programme of events and activities with both internal and external hub partners

Hours of work: 35 hours per week 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
(with regular evening and weekend work as required)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
